Unity Candle Ceremony 

Over the past 25 years, many couples have added a unity candle in their wedding ceremony as a symbolic gesture of love and union. A unity candle features a large pillar candle with two taper candles on either side.  The large candle usually is decorated with the names of the bride and groom, the wedding date, and a special verse.

In the ceremony, close family members (often the mothers or parents of the couple) will light the taper candles before the wedding party comes down the aisle. After reciting their vows, the couple will then each take a taper candle and light the larger candle together to symbolize the love and loyalty to one another created by the union of two hearts.

Please NOTE: Candles shipped in the summer months should be shipped to a location where they will not be delivered and left to sit outside in the heat.  We mark them as PERISHABLE, however, we are not responsible for the US Postal Service.  Candles will melt (as you know) and we don't want you to have a pool of wax in the box when you get home!
