When buying a bridal gown, remember that you must always go up at least 1 size from your normal street clothing.  If your measurements fall between the sizes, go up to the next size.  It is always easier to take a dress in than it is to let it out.  A good seamstress will make the dress fit you while making it look like it was never altered.
