Lingerie
For your special day, you should have special bridal undergarments. Everyday bra and underwear is just that - for everyday wear. For the most important garment you'll ever wear, form-fitting garments should be worn.
Bridal undergarments should be chosen to flatter your figure, the style of dress you will wear, and also to be a good foundation for the perfect fit.
If your dress is strapless or off-the-shoulder, you should probably try a bustier instead of just a strapless bra. It completely surrounds your torso and at the same time pushes your "chest" upward. This style works especially well if you have a full figure or a low cut back.
If your dress is a halter style or backless, cups sewn into the dress are fine. You can even use the stay cups that are adhere directly to your body. There are also bras with straps that wrap over the houlders and around the waist to conceal.
If you choose an Empire style gown, which is flattering on many different figures, just about any bra will make you look lovely, without wearing a bustier or corset.
Remember you should always have your undergarments when getting the fittings for your dress. If you wear something different it may affect the way the dress looks on your wedding day.
